Edikang Ikong, Afang, and Efo riro soups are highly nutritious, delicious, and savory vegetable soups natively prepared using ‘ugwu’ (the native name for fluted pumpkin leaves), and Malabar spinach (locally called water leaf in Nigeria) Ukazi and a lot of palm oil, crayfish, periwinkle, stock fish, etc. In this category are: Ayamasa stew and Ofada stew made with goat meat, boiled eggs, tripe, red dry prawns, etc You have 2 choices of proteins: Goat meat, beef, catfish, stock fish, whiting fish ( panla), croaker fish, chicken, turkey, Asa dried fish, Mangala dried fish, turkey gizzard, cowleg, ponmo, and Beef.
